Only came for a blood test.Found check in easy and the practitioner who dealt with me was friendly, reassuring and efficient.

Perhaps more appointments could be made available at Melrose surgery as it would be easier for patients like myself who live nearer to that site.

Filled in the online form and got an appointment at a convenient time for a couple of days after I fill the form as it wasn’t urgent it was fine. The doctor was very friendly and helpful and was great with my daughter whilst I was in the appointment

I had to take a week off work to try and get a appointment and couldn’t get a appointment on the first two days but then the receptionist sent me a link to fill in why I needed the appointment which I did and then got a appointment the next day. I didn’t really need a appointment all I needed was a referral so I feel like I took a appointment someone else could have had as I work with the consultant who I needed the referral sent to.

I could have just had a conversation with the GP to explain what I needed.

You phone at 8am and there are 30 to 40 people ahead of you. You get through, no appointments left. Also why am I having to pay taxi fares, bus fares to Shiregreen medical centre?? My surgery is in Burngreave and every single time I need tests, appointments etc I am made to leave my area, when my own surgery is a five minute walk( costing me nothing). You may as well shut down Melrose as it isn’t fit for purpose. It is simply sat there taking up space

You could bring bk the appointment system. This phone up at 8am does not work, isn’t working & will never work. People are going without care because of it.
